As Stand up Paddling is still growing quickly in Switzerland, the education of paddlers is lagging behind the sales of boards. The police in Zurich started a new prevention campaign to educate the broader public about the sensitive issues around SUP. Focus of the campaign is the safety of the paddlers, as in using adequate clothing and gear, and the education of basic rules on water.

To accompany their campaign on social media I got to shoot a series of pictures displaying proper gear and technique, in front of a recognizably “Zurich” setting.
