As we recently had the tryouts for the national team on Lac Leman (the top image is the sunrise from the day of the tryouts) and the sun sets amazingly late this time of the year, I got to do a detour on my way back. A few weeks ago I saw a Picture of the Gantrisch region on social media, and it has been on my bucket list ever since.

The region lies between Fribourg and Thun, connected by the Gurnigel pass. As I only had a short amount of time to drive through and snap some quick images there is not much that I can show off already, but it still stays very high on my bucketlist for future adventures.

I am looking forward to go back there either by roadbike, hiking or trailrunning. It looks absolutely stunning for all of these activities.
