I know I promised to write regular updates, and now another 3 months have sailed without me posting an update. A lot has happened since december, the biggest of which is that I will not yet return to Switzerland.

I took the opportunity to extend my stay here until and stay for a full year. This will unfortunately mean that I will miss the SUP racing season in Switzerland – not that I would be in any shape to race right now. But completing a full year here will allow me to get more experience in my work and improve my language skills significantly.

The last three month were also an amazing opportunity to see more of this beautiful country during the nice weather of the winter months. I managed to hike to the summit of Jabal Shams, the highest mountain in the Arabian Peninsula, visited the desert, hiked amazing wadis and swam with turtles and sharks. Now the weather starts to get hotter and hotter and with the holy month of Ramadan coming, everything is calming down and life shifts to a calmer pace.

For everyone reading this from Switzerland: I will in Zurich from the 16th to the 23rd of April and I am looking forward to paddle, run, ski and bike with all of you!
